I know many courses have bike available to ride, that are track ready...however, when using your own ride..are these mods suggested or dictated ?

I know of course you wanna have the proper gear, and 86 the mirrors..however..what about the rest?

Update...Wow..just read that prep site, that Shan posted...sounds like alot of basic common sense stuff for the most part. Think I'll stick to riding there's..that's alot of wear and tear on my main ride, that could end up costing me alot of cash in the aftermath. :shock: I've yet to do a track day, but hopefully soon!! Let us know how you it goes!

You know this this thread could be a good candidate for a sticky? I know I'll reference it if/when I actually get to the track (someday soon I hope) ! Damn day job!! :mad: :lol:

that would be too much like a highjack :) ..but i'll put one up tonite as my profile photo..have to resize it though first at home.
