:welcome: to TWF

Thats a step combo. You will notice a big change.
Renthal sprockets & DID chains are some of the best.
:withstupi :welcome:

The Renthal & DiD combo is THE BEST!!

I did the -1 +2 on my 9R and it was AWESOME!!!!

Well I hate to tell you but you just need to spend more $$$

Check out my threads...

Speedo Healer is what you need. I made a thread on the speed healer that I installed after I did my sprockets/520 coversion to fix the speedo error. HERE!!

Side note... DO NOT get a yellow box!

I never switched the sprockets on my SV because I like to do my wheelies, and I needed all the top end that bike could produce.

I like steel sprockets because they tend to hold up longer, where aluminum sprokets can get warped very quickly if the tire or chain is out of alignment. Gas Man can vouch for that one after his experience at the GAP last year.

Ride... well first off... I did the -1/+2 on the 9R and only lost about 10-15mph on the top... of coarse that was prior to the speedo healer which corrects both the stock error and now the new error. I strongly suggest. Just hink about it..not only is it in correct but you are adding more miles than actual. THINK ABOUT THAT!

Second, yes a very bad expierence... while on a GAP trip... on the second day... we noticed that I was missing some teeth on my POS vortex sprocket. (side note it was probably more the swing arm marks fault)

Lost half of my teeth on the rear sprocket. Then we went riding and I babied it... I was on a trip..I was going to sit in the hotel room all day. I had the wife overnight me a spare sprocket and then realized that the chain got all janky! So I went to the dealer and had a new chain put on.

So now I STRONGLY recomend using a chain alignment tool! As you can see below. Which I used exclusily on my new sprockets and chain for the 520 coversion.

A thread on the Sprocket.

520 coversion

Chain tool!

**Sorry the pics don't work... they got messed up from the software update**
