No tail lights and rear turn signals??? what about the front signals they working??? might just be a power wire is not hooked up or just loose???? make sure you got juice at the tail section with a multimeter....and all connections are tight and secure.... ....is the brakelight working?????

I will take some pics tonight, I have check the wires connections, and they are ok, I'm thinking that the problem may be that I used a 05 gsxr 1000 ignition, for the 03 04 gsxr 1000 ignition have 4 wires the 05 have 5 wires, so I color match the wires and left out the extra wire. the tail light works if I press the brakes so there is power, but the turns signals front or back do not work, the turn signal does not even flash in the tach.:cursin: :cursin: :cursin:

I think you may be onto something... that extra wire may just be that... the power/ground for the parking lights...sense they usually run thru the ignition...

Runs through the key switch if that's what you meant.

Hello fallas I sliced the ignition power supply and attached that extra wire and the lights and turn signals are working!!! The owner came and pick up the bike last night and was really happy with it. but he called me this afternoon and say that everything is working find but that the gauges are not reading the speed,
does anyone know what might be the problem!!

Sorry I could not get any pictures of the bike while it was under construction. but I was just too into it that I forgot to take pictures or break until it was done:scratch:

well cool, what ever works. Is that extra wire you attached linked to a fuse in anyway? I would be affraid it would get hot and possibably cause a fire. Where if it were on a fuse it would be safer.
