:withstupi They are hard to beat till you go full race.:2cents:SVupON1 said:go with the powers they seem to be the best of the best! next in line go with the Pirelli Diablo's:2cents:
That will depend mostly on your preference, road temp, air temp and how hard you ride. Personally, I keep mine about 36 front and 34 rear. Have to keep check much much more in winter. The temp flux seems to drain air out of tires.slam150 said:what is the best pressure for the powers to be ran at when riding in the twisties.
Oh yes!! Powers are the best! :2cents:jeeps84 said:I'm sure you will be happy with them.
pilot powers, or the pirelli diablo super corsa'sslam150 said:well, let me just give you guys my opinion on what I am looking for.
I need a tire that is soft compound, will heat up quickly, and will stick to the road very well. i dont trust many tires basically because its hard for me to trust any tire with my life.
so, i want the best street tire "money no option" i dont want to worry about the tire ever sliding out from under me.
is this a reality?
Not really!slam150 said:is this a reality?
just find the cheapest race compound tires you can afford. race compounds are softer than street tyres and they do not last as long. since you don't plan on track riding, then any manufacturer with race compound will do you fine. trust me, you will not reach the peak potential of race compound tyres on the street. if you ask a racer, they will choose whatever tyre company pays the most in contingency money.slam150 said:well, let me just give you guys my opinion on what I am looking for.

I dot like'em on the street for the average knee dragger. After you heat them up to many times. (they may still have plenty of tread) They start to get greasy. The performance street compounds are way better suited for the varying heat cycles of street ridding. With that said. I rarely even use race compound on track days. The street tiers are sufficient.Back _Marker said:just find the cheapest race compound tires you can afford.-a|ex
