I think a few well placed LEDs can look great and add safety. But there is a fine line between that and having a tacky squid bike...

 Safety?????

Not a big fan either. Cool for show bikes but beyond that you have to be carefull that you might be leaning towards squidism.

But to each their own!

That is only if you can ride with them on. Most states you can't. Plus it might cause more sight afixsation (sp?)

This whole squidism thing is retarded. Its like the rice epicemic with cars. If you like it do it. Dont go overboard, just highlight the stuff that is there with suttle lights.

Look at kuryakin or whatever you spell it at their kits. I put one on my dads heritage springer and it did wonders to highlight all the chrome he has.

Yep I have seen those kits... most of their kits are like you say... subtle and not overboard!

i happen to like neon lights. it's just another way to customize your bike and make it yours. i found out long ago (after joining here) that i tend to lean towards squidly because i care more about the appearance of my bike than the performance. being a girl, i have always liked pretty things. i can appreciate all motorcycles and the effort that is behind making them just what the owner always dreamed of. so there you have it, i'm a squid, at least as far as appearance goes. whew, i feel like a load has been lifted off me. let the bashing begin...

First comes the neon, next comes the faux leopard fur covered fairings.

HA! HA! HA! HA! ^^^^^^^ go even further, make sure the fur matches the LED's.

Honestly tho, I have seen ONE bike that it didn't look tacky on. They did it sparingly and placed just right.
