sat on an r1100s in the shop, when I was picking up my bike recently...really comfortable, nice ergos..seems to be a love it or hate type ride...but my initial reaction to the beast was all good...one of the shop guys said, BMW riders live and die by them..I can believe it.

I guess I'm a member of the BMW club now. Was going to buy a Gixxer, but I caved in to creature comforts and bought an R1100S instead...... SO far, I'm happy with my choice.
