Um, correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't "aiming to STAY #1" mean that they ARE #1? So please explain to me how you come to think they are "still trying to catch up" to ANYBODY if they're ALREADY #1? Wouldn't that mean that they have actually PASSED everyone and therefore, everyone else is trying catch up to them?

once again i will state that kawasaki zx10r was sportbike of the year in 2004 and i beleive it still is in 2005. someone didnt do too much reading casue no matter what magazine or what review you read, kawasaki zx10r came out on top every time. i took the statement aim to stay #1 as they are trying to get there #1 spot back wich they did have until kawasaki ran over everyone with the zx6r and zx10r.

I believe they are talking #1 in AMA Superbike though.... to which we will never know the answer, because all the factories race in separate categories...

only rated the best bike by every review, test, and shootout done in every major magazine, and anyone else who did a review on them. or is kawi just paying them to say this.

Like i stated b4 it is the rider that makes the real difference but as far a just performance the zx10r tops all. :yesnod:

Actually, from what I read the motor on the Kawi is what everyone is raving about, but the GSXR still out handles it.
