Just thought I'd jump on the bandwagon and join this forum. I noticed the ad in 2 Wheel Tuner mag and thought i'd check it out. I'm over in Iraq right securing stuff but i'll be home in a month. I'm itching to ride in a bad way. I bow my head to all the folks in the cold and wintry states. Wish you could ride with. Nice meeting all of you, Pete

Thanks folr all the support everyone! Yep, I'm in the Air Force, 2nd time over here since the war started but things are going fine. But i'll be home in about a month and the RC is sitting in the garage ready to go. So as soon as i get to my house, i'm calling up my insurance company to renew my policy, changing my oil, checking the tire pressure, and i'm off. If i could figure out how to post up pics, there is a pretty strange looking iraqi military motorcycle right behind my work center. I've got a few pictures of this thing. Alright, well i'm out, and i look forward to learning from and contributing to this site. Take care guys!

Just a pic of me posing on the bike and the other is me fantasizing full tuck on a straight at Willow Springs Raceway.

You can e-mail me those strange looking iraqi military motorcycle pics. I will be glad to post them for you. You can also click on gallery (left side), then click on upload photos (on right). Follow the directions like attaching a file to an e-mail. A mod will then approve the pic and post.

Hey guys, I sent the pics of that Iraqi bike to Jeeps84 to post. Thanks by the way. I [will soon] ride an '02 RC51-Jardine slip-ons, PCIII,Toby Steering Damper, Pilot Powers, and some other random crap...Rode an '00 R6 before that. I rode my friends RC and immediately traded in the R6. Plus I'm a big fan of Ben Bostrom and Nicky Hayden (rode the RC in AMA). Not that the R6 was a bad bike but the RC is definitely where it's at.

See post #7 for pics
