To start, I'm signed up to take the MSF course and have yet to ride a street bike. The only experience I have is a little dirt biking and 15 years of quads. Once I finish the course I'm looking to buy a cheaper/lower power bike like a Ninja 250-500 or Hyosung GT250, GT250R. The only problem I have is my work location. I have to drive about 2 mile of gravel roads each day to get there and back. They are well taken care of, but its still gravel. I know gravel is really bad when its scattered on paved roads, but what about driving 2 miles worth of it 5 days a week? Obviously it would have to be slow speed if at all. But would it even work?
Also, I was wondering if the dust and rocks would clog things up and make cleaning the bike a weekly habbit.
Sorry if this is more of a ramble than a question, I just need to make sure getting a bike is even an option.
There are nice highways all around my area but I have to take small dirt roads to get to them.
Thanks for you help.
