Unless your vehicle is one of the ones on the top 10 stolen list, thats when it can really jack you. Here in Michigan I know the county in which you live in can help or hurt your rate slightly. Fortunately my county helped mine. But Michigans "No Fault" policy has just got to be one of the freekin dumbest things ever. A huge majority of the giant insurance premiums is due to those jack asses that dont insure their vehicles.

I'm with ya on this Ace! The county in which you live in and the closeness to certain cities really affects your rate. For example, In Ace's county of Oakland, the closer you are to "The Yak" the higher your rates are. Even if you live in the Troy/RO area, your rates are higher due to the higher accident percentage due to all the self-important arseholes driving like arseholes!!

I know that when I moved to my county my rates went down a bit... Michigan is in the top 3 or 5 in the country for the highest insurance rates... Jersey being the highest I think!

At least D-town made the top 10 on that list!! ......O....wait....that isn't a good thing.... DAMMIT!!!
