So the other week I start to purchase my new gear for the new bike in the spring...

The first purchase a new Nolan flip up.

Nolan PDF file on the helmet.

IT is about the nicest helmet I've ever seen. They were more concerned about the quality of the helmet than the color airburshing on the helmet.

It has a completely removeable hypo-allegenic liner and cheek pading.

The flip up is spring loaded with metal to metal clasps. Alot of the other brands aren't spring loaded, they don't close the face shield if its open when you flip up. And most the others have plastic clips and clasps on the flip up.

It is complete DOT approved and if you compress the helmet it doesn't buckle where the flip up clasps into the helmet. Which is good and not the way the other brand are. The Nolan helmet shell is still very rigid and not comprimised by the flip up.

Fully Italian made and designed, so the quality is there.

It even comes with a anit-fog insert for the face shield. It is another piece of plastic face shield that slides on the inside of the normal face shield. Creating a air gap between it and the normal face shield. That air gap works as a buffer between the hot air of your breathe and the cold air from "outside".

I'm pretty excited about the helmet and I think it will be great in the colder weather and the longer highway rides...
