so im sitting at a light in the 110 degree heat and some newb on a cbr comes up next to me. we chat a little about traffic and stuff bs you know then the light goes and its like were racing!!!!11 except he stalls at the start and i see this big truck behind him almost roll over him anyway he was fine just a little embarrassed!!!!!!!!!! lol

its kinda really hard to stall a bike if ur racing somoen, i mean i could see him looping it from pegging the throttle and letting the clutch go, but thats a def NOOB

A few weeks ago, I brought a bunch of books to the library sale so I had the tank bag and saddlebags on my old CBR. So I'm coming home with the empty bags and an R1 pulls up next to me at the light. The young man and I chat and the cross traffic slows for the yellow light. He gives a couple revs. I reved it up and slipped the clutch. My gray beard and the saddlebags must have surprised him, as he didn't pass until I slowed. Then he pulled a wheelie. He waved as he turned down a side street. Man, I love riding.

That BS happened to me on Tuesday. I pulled up to the light. A couple of young ladies were checking me out. I smile and try to pull of, *COUGH* the bike cuts off. I was in second gear. I am sure I made the MSF proud...NOT :skep:

HAHAHHA this happened to me too but there was a cute guy in a SUV trying to talk to me and I forgot to make sure I downshifted to first...when the light turned green... BAMN engine cut off LOL

sounds like my experience at the gas station a few weeks ago, except I forgot to put the kickstand UP while leaving, and was wondering why the bike kept stalling out. Oh man, that was really embarrasing, especially in front of the Motorcycle cop that was there too...:leaving:
