Hello All,
My name is Adam and I'm from Scottsdale, AZ. My old man is a member of the sister forum Corvette forum and informed me of TWF about 2 weeks ago. I just purchased a 01 Kawa zx6r and this is my first bike. I got a smokin' deal, but was somewhat of a fixer-upper. But 90% of the work was bolt on replacement stuff (stator cover, right brake assembly, muffler, etc), all done myself and with a knowledgable friend. While working on the bike, the fork seals seam to blow and the radiator cap is also blown. Other than that she runs fine. Scheduled to take my MSF course with a buddy very soon. All we have been doing for the past 3 months is read every bit of information about riding, safety performance, etc. All we need to do now is start riding! Mind you I still have a lot to learn. This looks like a great forum to obtain info about anything to do with bikes. The only pics I have of the bike is when the idiot prevoius owner laid it down (oil everywhere).
Take care
