Well I finally get to brag and brag BIG!!. In the past 8 months I've lost it all. My best friend died, lost a bf (<~oh well..:yaewn: ) my Company etc etc.. so all in all it's been a pretty rough year.

I've given up everything for others my entire life and finally after 33 yrs I was selfish. This time I was only thinking of myself and what I wanted. Pooh on what anyone thought. I went and took my hard earned $$ and marked off on my "what I want to do before I die" list and bought not just one bike, but two. Why two you ask?! Why not! I've earned it!! and besides, if I dump one, I'll have another.. ha! ha! ha! (I'm not planning on doing that you realize! **fingers crossed**)

Here they are. The black beauties.. all shinny and new. Less then 1 miles on um...

Congrats on the new bikeS. I have to ask. No Bo, why two of the same bike? I would have understood if one was a 599 or something like that but, two RRs?

Gratz on two lovely (twin?) bikes..
But have to ask same as gm asked - why twins? Why not variation? Unless u bought one for you, and one for whatever partner decides to ride with you but doesnt have a ride her/himself..
But here for sure, black is beautiful..

Thanks.... The reason for 2 of the same is only because the red/black paint job didn't grab my attention, the orange/black tribal is just hideous! I thought about getting an R6 but honestly I didn't like the HUGE bracket in the rear, the price for the R6 was $1600 more and I'm not a Yami fan. I almost picked up the 1000RR as the second bike, but honestly I don't need a liter bike for any reason. Not that I can't handle one, I've had one before, but it's just to much for me and my small frame (5'5" and 106 lbs.)

Also, one will remain black/red lettering while one will be black/yellow lettering. The MSRP on the 06 600RR is $8,999. I bought both for just under $15,000. I just got a mega deal on both and couldn't pass it up. One OTD is $7694.00. As silly as it sounds that there are now 2 of the same pony's in my barn, it was just something I had to do. A lot of it might have to do with 6 yrs of my ex bf taking the $ from our Co. and spending it on himself while I was left with nothing, and I mean nothing! It's just one of those goofy goals that people make. I'm just happy I could finally achieve it. :)

Ok you bought two just to get a better deal?
I understand that you splurged on your self.
I'm still lost as to why two of the same. What is the purpose?

No, I bought both because on my "list" it said "buy two new bikes" and also because part of it was the deal I could get. I know it's retarded to buy 2 of the same, but I had to do it. It's one of those things that's just to hard to explain to others. When I was on my way to pick them up on Friday, I was thinking of what I would do with both. I'm leaning toward one being a track bike. Since I was never allowed to do a track day I thought I could make one just strictly track. Also I thought I could make a $ or two if I sold one for $9,000 even. One could be a "hit the twisties" bike, the other a "work" bike... I don't know, like I said, it's one of those things that I had to do and it's so hard to explain to others as to why.

:dthumb: on the new bikeS. Now saying one street and one track...makes all the sense... I just suggest you get a set of race plastics and keep those shiny new stock plastics someplace safe for "just in case"!

But seriously...those are so...

Now you just need to do what Birdman did... HERE!

I'll ride her other one.

You should sell one and turn a profit. That's a good deal and you could profit out of it. Plus you'd still have one left. Win win.

Where do you live? I sold my R6 last year, but if you live close and want a riding partner, I still have my leathers and gear. ;) Congrats on the purchase and I hope you enjoy them. Track one and street the other is a great idea. But I also agree to either buy race plastics, or pic up a set of rashed, but not broken, plastics to use on the track bike. It will eventually go down so you don't want to trash the new stock plastics. BTW, your very first mod should be frame sliders.

Its a group or club of women riders. I would have thought you already knew about them from surfing forums.

Yeah, I've seen the ***** Posse posting mostly on the Sportbikes forum.

As far as having to explain why you bought two bikes Jappy, no need. I for one understand an individual's goals, and sometimes they make no sense to anyone but the individual. :dthumb: More power to you!

You make the rest of us envious!
