Last Tuesday morning my (locked) Dodge Ram was stolen right out of the driveway. Been a week and no recovery yet. I had so much stuff in the truck too (I'm always on the go) which has been a major headache (wallet with EVERYTHING in it, tons of dog resq stuff too) and inconvience, not to mention the worry if they might return and cause more harm. Of course the garge door opener was on the visor as well leading to the real stables of bikes!!! Twisty spent this past weekend locking everything down with kryptonite steel braided locks, etc and running the same through the door. What a bunch of $hit :cry: :cursin: :cry: :cursin: :cry: :cursin:

Anyone coming to Detroit for the SuperBowl - watch your stuff. Detroit = :flush:

I HATE THEIVES!!!

It was a Silver 2005 Quad Cab 1500 Ram.

Its somewhere in southeast Detroit (or rather was last week) - last week they tried to use a credit card at gas station and at atms about 3 days after it was stolen at 94 & Van **** area. I think they changed the plate & stuff and are driving it, but could be in pieces at a chop shop too. I just hate when people take things that dont belong to them! It's pretty much a wait and see game until Feb 17, then its declared total loss if still not recovered.

I saw your post on the WOS message board as well as your spot on the Fox2. I know how you feel. Theives broke into a Caprice I had (sold shortly after) a few years ago while it sat in front of my house. To add insult to injury, they busted out the passenger wide window which was facing my house.

+1 I have since had my current Caprice broken into (Greektown), as well as my wife's 01 Taurus, attempted break in (nightclub at Grand River/Cass area), both in the downtown Detroit. You don't want anything of value in plain view through your windows.

Good luck with that. Hopefully they won't use your personal information. I, on the other hand, received a telephone bill in the mail from MCI months later. The theives also stole my insurance card and registration and opened an account for phone service.

Keep track of that link for any posted tips they may provide over there.
Did you see the reprogram a new remote? Just go to any Home improvement center for a replacemant remote and change your garage code. If it is a craftsman go to sears. But certainly change your remotes now. Then the one in your truck will be worthless.

Yeah thanks for help...i plan on changing the codes, for now I just unplugged the opener. I took trip over that neck of the woods today(sorry PIP), thought i found it but after closer inspection it was not ours. i have a friend who has connections with the lower lifeforms that run the streets there and he thinks that is probley gone now. Chopped or shipped to south america where the price of trucks and SUV's are doubled.

twisty....lets get one thing straight....Chevy CANNOT compare to Dodge in the truck world! lol:cheers:

BTW...if you want a powerhouse truck....Dodge is the way to go....most powerful Gas powered trucks (Hemi)....and the most powerful diesel (Cummins 610) not to mention...i may be biased...but cmon....the new dodge rams are ALOT better looking than chevys and fords.

Good luck for a safe recovery...unless you are hoping its totaled so you get a brand new one? lol

It was brand new....I dont want to macho but if i find the ****er, its going to be a good'ol lynching and BBQ @ my house.
