ok, i am looking at painting my orange 05 zx-6r 636, but im looking for some opinions on what type of graphics i should look into?

You can try Tape Works for the simple stuff. Other wise, Its a mater of your taste. I personally don't like most of the wild paint schemes but respect the time, love and money involved in doing it.

I had a friend that paid about $1000 for a paint job on his bike. It looked really good and got looks everywhere we went. but he was always worried about it. He spent more time trying to clean it than he got to ride. He would constantly go over it when we stopped to look for chips. Then he lowsided one day and about a month later and has nothing to show for it. I would definitely go with the sticker kit if i were you. It is fairly cheap, and you can always take them off later if ya want.

Too bad for your friend spending $1000. I spend no where near that much! But as for as stickers go, go with what you can afford and not regreat later...Remember, a custom bike is a one time investment and I do mean investment.....:chill:

I think you're right... but depending on how crazy you got with the paint. If you rashed up one side... you could buy any color used side... sand it and paint it back to the same color as the rest of the bike. Otherwise, he would have to buy a used or new same color side and buy at least that side of sticers again...

So I could see it either way. Just which one is cheaper?

Full out custom is more $$$$ to start with and to repair no mater how you look at it. From what I've seen. Most painters don't like to try and match. They prefer to start over and do the whole bike.
