Its definetly an incredible bike. I haven't read any of the comparos yet but IMO the new litre bikes are all very competent bikes with the operator being the X factor. Personally its by far the best looking most unique offering of the Japanses brands. Fit and finish has been getting better every year and for the first time I think its actually better than the Honda which is saying a lot.
I had a 99' and loved it. I've been through a few other bikes since but it was great at the time. I'm sure the new one is nothing short of spectacular.
