Thought I'd share with you guys and gals who put up their votes from the 10/11 poll "If you had to choose" after much deliberation, hours of reading and research I've decided to put my deposit on the Triumph 675. Everything I've been reading is saying that this bike is supposed to be redefining the middle weight super sport class.(not to mention drop dead gorgeous) I put my deposit last week on a Tornado Red 675 expected delivery is March. $8,999.00 plus $500.00 for destination. I went to a dealer who also handles Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda and Kawasaki so if I go to get the bike in March and don’t like it for whatever reason they told me I can transfer the money any other model. Thought I'd share!

:iagree: with everyone else's comments...but you know how much of a liar salesmen are...they may tell you that you're stuck with the bike when it comes in. They've got your money...that's all they care about...hopefully not...but some places are like that.

anyway congrats on the awesome new bike  :dthumb:

i still like the new R6 a little more tho.

Well I'd post a pic of the exact bike I ordered however, there is no upload pics option.. hummm I did it before.???. :help: oh just read the thread rules... and I "may not post attachements" go here:

EDIT by GAS MAN so pics shows up:

Ok well to answer your question DLITALIEN . I'm not laying any claim that this bike is going to redefine the middle weight SS class. I'm only reapeating what I'm reading and hearing. Triumph did take a prototype 675 that was about 98% production model up against a 636 and a 600RR and it ate both of them up. The article read that through the corners the 675 was loosing them. I can obtain the article if you require. As far the other features that I feel are going to make this a truely great bike is the simple fact that the triple is going to have the low in torque of a V and the top end of the four's sorta the best of both worlds if you will... I have a 2005 R6 ;) If the 675 handles anything like the R6 I'm going to love it.. plus its just way prettier.

Its not like they couldn't sale it to somebody else. He probably didn't really order it so much as lay claim on the first one in the store. If he decided he didn't like it after viewing. Id bet that they wouldn't have any problem selling him something else. :2cents:

They are only bringing 4000 models to the US for 06 to keep demand high. The way I'm understanding it thus far is that there already expecting more demand than production so they are allowing until like 1/26/06 for reservations. The models that come over first obvisouly will go to the dealers who already have the orders in. My dealer already said that if I didnt want the bike they'd have no problem getting rid of it if I wanted to go with the R6 or the GSXR. I dont think thats going to happen though.

:iagree: that bike will definatly go to someone else quick if you didn't like it once you see it in person. Its a new model so someone will take it.
