They are right, you are not taking the corner fast enough. I hate to tell people that, because you always want to do what is most comfortable for you. NEVER ride over your head. When I got my new 125 and took it to the track for the first time (these are the fastest cornering bikes out there), I went into turn 1 at VIR and went right over the curb. I was going waaaaaay to slow. I kept doing it, though, until I got more comfortable and less chicken S%#$! As I gradually braked less and gave her more gas, there was no more running over the curbs. As long as you are looking where you want to go, giving gas is the right thing to do. Also, if your suspension is set up correctly and all is good with the bike, you are better off on the gas through a turn. Being off the gas is a recipe for a low side! Just my .02.
