So, we go through a lot of gas in our service department. However, the closest gas station is this dumphole little mini mart. All of the gas we get from them smells like rotten-egg farts. Seriously, once when we were assembling a new ATV, I was sure that our technician had strafed me.

What's up with that?

Hmmmm, I have heard of similar things before. From what i understand some gas stations that use really low grade or off road use fuel only have a higher ammount of sulfer in it which would give it a rotten egg smell.

Well you can get the sulfer smell from about anything... more typical from heating oil (HSD/#2H = high sulfer diesel), kerosene. Those carry a higher sulfer content than most... but even standard diesel (LSD = low sulfer diesel)

And yes the sulfer could be concieved as a rotten egg smell. I'm just use to it...
