I'm not a big fan of KBC and it still losses on the looks for my vote goes to the yellow checkered lid.

I'm gonna say KBC is a better helmet, protection wise then that no name helmet. So for the sake of your dome, and looks wise, I vote KBC.

Do they make one that is less than $200 bills. I know that KBC is like $159 at the shop here and I still havent figured out what the yellow checkered lid is. So I really don't have an opinion on anything other than looks with it.

Black bikes look cool as do black helmets, but speaking from experience you do not want to wear a black helmet in the summertime. Just think about the old science class about black absorbing heat. Whenever I see someone ride by who isn't wearing a helmet, but has one tied to the rear, it's always a black one.

Buy a Scorpion. There's one for 140 and one for 199. They're made by guys who worked for Arai. I have one and it's the ****. That no fog lense they advertise works the bomb! I can not get that thing to fog up at all!

A big +1 on the Scorpion, they are excellent lids.
And +1 on the questionable KBC helments, for the money I think you can do better...:2cents:

Check around, you can find great deals on so called 'high end' helmets that are on clearance too? I picked up at Shoei RF-1000 for under $280.

And of the two on your poll, I don't recognize the brand or model but I like #1

Yeah I did get lucky, it a usually really hard for me to find a helmet. I can usually barley fit a XXL over my huge melon...:cursin:

i resently bought a simpson street warrior, it looks bad ass big time and it is one of the most comfortable lids i have worn not that that is helping you at all. so if you are going for looks simpson is where its at, though the military themed one looks good.

i gota scorpion, best helmet i ever had, ive had like 4-5, great fit, no fog etc, but outa those two id say #2, cuz the otha one could be no name, or counterfeit, basically junk. plus it(#2) looks better imo

Yeah that no-fog feature from scorpion is no joke. i can't get that bitch to fog even when I blow directly on it.
