gixxers keep looking more and more like kawasaki from the side. which is a good thing. almost like looking at a fine womren from the side. but in the gixxers case when you actually look at its face its all fcuked up and ungly. lmao gixxers need dual head lights.
I'm gonna have to agree with you in part, I actually like the CBR1000 the best in terms of looks, but the GSXR is improving. And for the record I did at least go to the Kawasaki dealer to look, something I have never done before.zx636r said:

ahhhh i remember when i first walked into the dealership and saw my green 636, i was in heaven. but i really wanted the black 04 10r OMG was it ever the nicest bike i ever saw. but my credit would not give me 10k and the sales man also would not give me 10k to get it, which was probably a good thing that i did not get one.

Nice new bike. I only think the new gixxer looks like a Kawi in the tail.
In typical T&C fashion, shanman can relate, they didn't get the bike or the paperwork in order and I was busy so it will have to be tomorrow.
I have had an R1 and a GSXR1000 in recent years so this is by no means a starter so now worries, thought you guys would be amused. I will go pick it up in the morning and post pics. Being old kind of blows the hype but I am defintely looking forward to it.

OK now its in the garage. I just rode it straight back to the house, nice to be in the saddle, actually really thrilled that I got another street bike, I denied myself for to long. I'll post some impressions after a ride or two, but at this point it feels like a 600 except for the motor which even whilst trying to keep it around 5K pulls hard and is extremely responsive. :dthumb:

It looks sharp sitting in your driveway. The first projects should be frame sliders and a fender eliminator.
