Both look like great ideas. If it were up to me...I would just stick to my 375lb bike. Much easier to move an push up a ramp. :D

Gas, yours only has 2500LB winch

True...however..a HD Ultra Classic only weights Dry Weight 788.0 lbs Running Order Weight 819.0 lbs. And a 2005 Valkyrie Rune Dry Weight 811.0 pounds and a 2005 VTX1800 Dry Weight 734 pounds. So I am going to guess that the eatra 500lb ability isn't going to matter anyways seeing how a crusier doesn't come close to the 2500lb weight.

Do you know how you make your Harley more comfortable on the way to sturgis?.................................You put new shocks on your Chevy Pickup.

Do you know what dogs have in common with Harley's?.......................They both like to ride in the back of pickup trucks.

Winch could also be used for other purposes ;) Such as pulling your truck out of mud

Using snatch block will double winch pulling power ;) Yes, your 2500LB winch would be to small for 6K pull. But 3000LB winch, listed by me, would have 6K pulling power using snatch block

Bet that 10 K winch mounted up front, is going to pull motorcycle into back of truck
Since you have no idea what a snatch block used for, doubt you have much experience with winchs or for that mater 4X4 off roading  With proper rigging 10K winch over kill for any street truck.
Have always owned 4X4, installed few winchs on my rigs ;)

Hey I'm just crackin at ya... I'm all over being stuck in the middle of no-where with only a winch to get out... pulleys are great and really help. I currently drive 4 4x4's.... and have owned and in been in many other people's...so don't talk to me like I'm some punk kid... THANK YOU...and please drive thru! :D

What I don't get is why you are trying to sell a MC lift with the idea of using it as a winch for 4x4'ing? It's not designed for that nor would I use it for that. Is it going to to be mounted to handle that type of pull? Just isn't worth it in my opinion. If you're are going to MC lift your bike in the back with it ok. If you are trying to use it in your 4x4 exploits...then get the right gear! But maybe that is coming from a guy that don't know anything...

Maybe you should reread my post ;) Not tring to sell anything, just sugesting winch could be used in pinch.
For record anybody using 6000 LB truck for serious 4X4 exploits, has no clue what real 4X4 exploits are

Hey you use what you got in hand.... I've pulled out full sized trucks barried to the frame with a 4 banger ranger... using what I had to use... pulled out 3 barried trucks in a old swamp using a HUGE john deer piece of equipment... I MEAN HUGE!

Not too mention the various construction equipment I've helped rescue from mud pits!
