the NewFront Stand is awesome anyway. You can service the whole front end, sans the lower triple.
Doesn't work on the Busa.....Too small of clearance between fender and upper fairing......and actually with a little finagleing you can get it in, The problem really is when you want to remove the stand!!

one question, i may have posted the wrong pic. There is THIS stand too. is this the front stand meant by 'standard' front stand?

There is no "standard front stand" anymore....the stand and part number have changed and it is now the "new front stand"

....I believe what you posted is the previous "standard front stand" though.

will the rear stand hold the bike upright with out the use of a front?
YES! You can use the rear to hold up the bike and a floor jack to get the front off the ground on the Rebel. Just be very careful. Or you can get a MC/ATV lift from Lowe's, Sears or where ever to lift the lill Rebel. I dont recommend trying this with the sportbikes.

BTW,
Its not recommended to use a front stand with out the rear in place first. Fine the other way around.

:cursin: ok i know ill take one adjustable rear stand, when do you need to know about the front?
I'll find out...

Also, for the rear, do you want the spool or regular type? Or the universal which has both? That way you can put spools on the 6R and use the other end for the Rebel. Spools are better IMO.

I may be interested in both the new front stand and the spooled rear...gotta get permission to spend more $$$ as I've already spent $500 on this hobby in the last month or so.
I strongly recommend at least the spooled rear. I park the bike on it everytime I'm at home. My garage floor is old and abused, and with it on the stand, I never have to worry about bumping into it or knocking it over when working on it... that's not even factoring in the neihborhood strays when i leave the garage door open for a light while working on other projects.
