This is not to far from where i live and right by where N4S used to live at. And I live in a good section in York,Pa.

County QRT members searched for a man who eluded them Thursday.

While York County detectives were working on another case in York on Sunday evening, a suspect in a home invasion last week walked past them.
Detectives recognized Elias Jimenez as he went into an apartment building at 768 W. Market St., and called for back-up, said York County Deputy Prosecutor Bill Graff.

Shortly after 8 p.m., members of the York County Quick Response Team surrounded two houses where they believed Jimenez was hiding. For the second time in a few days, the team was looking for Jimenez.

They issued a warrant for his arrest last week. As late as 11:50 p.m., Jimenez was not in custody.

With shields raised in front of them, team members marched down West Market Street before stopping in front of the row house. With guns in hand, they forced their way into the front door and went in to search for Jimenez. Police allege Jimenez, Dwight Barlow and another man stormed into a house in the 300 block of South Queen Street on Thursday evening and robbed those inside.

When police arrived, the men fled. York City Police officer Mike Muldrow gave chase and was fired at by Jimenez as he ran, according to court documents.

While they searched for Jimenez on Sunday night, officers evacuated others who lived in the building. With one officer leading them and another behind them, the group hurried into the basement of St. Rose of Lima Church on the corner of West Market Street and Richland Avenue, where police had set up a command center.

Behind them, officers roared orders into a bullhorn, telling the suspect in two languages to come out of the house. After several tries, the negotiations team went around front to attempt to reach Jimenez another way.

The officers slung a phone into an area of the house where they thought Jimenez was holed up.

Through the bullhorn they told Jimenez to pick up the telephone. He didn’t answer.

The team waited some more. When they still didn’t get a response, they fired canisters of tear gas into the windows and door of the row house.

One of the other suspects in the case, Bartow, was picked up by the QRT team Thursday night. The other man was still on the lam as of late Sunday night.

"Here we have a beautiful courthouse built in the 1800's. And just down the road we have a Crackhouse, built in the 1990's. Please be careful people and step over the heroin needle there"
