hey what did you do to increase your sv to 150 mph. i can only top mine out at 130. im thinkin since i dont go that fast hardly ever i could sprocket it, jet it, exhaust, and bring that high end power down. so i can accelerate quicker

One major factor is I am small, and only weigh about a buck twenty. However I had a K&N, stage 3 jet kit, full Yoshi race exhaust, sync'd carbs, light weight CFM motorsports rear sets....
After 130 it took a long time...but I had it up to 150 many many many times.

I think it was 45 on the rear. It says how many teeth are on the rear sproket.

Cool page and I loved the Soundtrack :dthumb:
hey thanks Jeeps. I put a lot of work into that page earlier this week. There are still a few things that I'd like to do...but I need to find a better format.

Are you talking about the rear sprocket?
There may be a difference in bolt pattern from the old SV's to the new ones.
It may be possible to change the cush drive to the old style but, I wouldn't. Suzuki usually changes thing for the better. :2cents:

You don't really need to worry about that until you need a new chain. If you take car of it. It should last you 10 k +.
I know they make a 520 kit for your bike. Pic's in adds are usually just for reference anyway. Just make sure you order it for the right year when the time comes.
