I'm not sure where some people got the idea that posting your opinion could break the rules, so let me set things straight.
If you view this forum (Forum Guidelines and Rules), you'll notice we have no rules against posting your opinion; quite the contrary. That's what a discussion site is all about, sharing opinions and thoughts.
If you cannot express your opinion in an adult manner and in the process you break any of the rules that have been typed out, then we have a problem. But, the act of expressing your opinion in and of itself is enouraged. That's what it's all about!
I think most of the rules we do have are simply common sense and common courtesy. We've always had a rule against flaming or attacking someone, or posting porn. Yes, now that it's typed into words there is no question about the rules, but it's not like some big hammer has fallen and anything you say or do will be censored.
Treat others as you wish to be treated, it's quite simple!
If you want to look at porn and participate in a free-for-all, then I'm sorry, this site is not for you. If you want to talk about sportbikes and other things (Off Topic) with adults in a mature manner, then you've found the right place.
As always, if you're unsure what is acceptable and what is not... ask a moderator or me! It's the members that help shape our community, I listen to what you have to say. This thread/post is evidence of that.
