Hey just wondering... but on some other boards I've been on they've had a section that was password protected that was for private chit chat... to keep anything that could be used against the forum or it's sponsors away from the eyes of the random google search?

why don't we have one?

what made me think of this was the downloading movies thread... nothing against who ever started it... it's just... a sponsor COULD see that and get upset... wouldn't it be easy to just keep that stuff in a passworded section?

Ooops! I didn't mean to start something by replying to that other thread. That is just one of those subjects that is a little bit on the controversial side. I just thought it was interesting how it was being discussed so non-chalantly (how the heck do you spell that?) when it really is illegal. I'm not saying I've never done anything bad, I was just making an innocent comment. Let's not start a war.

Anyway, the dvd coping for example... nothing on the forum is really being endorsed by the forum. Just cause we are talking about speeding on the highways or stunting... doesn't mean that the forum has endorsed or could get into any trouble with it or the people.

naw... didn't mean to do anything of the sort... I just used the movie thing as an example... didn't mean specificly you though... sorry for the missunderstanding...

I should have used another example such as pictures... you wouldn't have to worry so much about pictures being to graphic or riske'...

but like I said... it was just a thought... it wasn't fueld by any perticular person or topic...

I am saying that people who wanted on them bad enough could learn how to get to them because things like vB are easily accessible through alternative means. Not condoning this, but have seen many boards haXx0rzed

Ebbs...I know what you're saying but at this point that is not a issue. The only issue any sponsor has ever gave TWF was the girl pics and the member bashing that turns to flaming. Hence, why we don't condone such acts. And it also makes :twfrox: that much more!
