I have 2 christmas trees to decorate. The one tree usually goes up between December 7th and December 10th. The other tree goes up usually depending on how Penn State is doing... Yep thats right I have a Penn State tree. If they do really well then the tree is up Thanksgiving evening but if not like this year it usually falls during the december 7th and 10th period as well.

Just be glad you don't live in the South...Those Blowups would get blown up here in quick time by some good ol boy passing by in his truck with a hand gun. or by one of the neighborhood inbreds with their Crossmans

We usually put up our tree, somewhere around my birthday. Anywhere between the 10th and 14th of December. We just started decorating. We put up our icicle lights around the roof of the house and just starting getting the rest of the stuff out of boxes. I love putting it up. Just hate taking it all down...LOL

Well that's the secret, a$$! I ALWAYS water the tree myself. Because I know that Allen sure as hell isn't gonna do it. He always says, "I'll do it in a minute." 6 days later... But you're right, pine needles SUCK! :D

I couldn't wait! I put mine up Saturday while DJ was at work! The babies love it though!! I think I did a pretty good job by myself! :D

Yes she did. It was to be a surprise for me when I got home but Austin told me over the phone. LOL

I have always used tylanol or the cheap ones from the store to put in the water and it helps the tree not lose so many needles. :)

As long as it's after Thanksgiving it's all good. The same is true for turning on the outdoor lights. I will put them up sooner if the weather gets real nice, but they aren't allowed to be turned on for good (testing is acceptable) until after Thanksgiving.
