RC51 For Sale

Hey fellas, I have a 2000 RC51 I am selling. It has Micron slip ons, lower gearing with speedometer compensator, brand new Michelin Pilot Power tires and battery, 5600 miles, valid registration and clean title, never been down, and garage kept. I am asking $7500 and I have the title in hand. I'll throw in a set of leathers, helmet, and pit bull stand for an extra $500. The bike is located in Dallas.

If you know anyone that might be interested, please pass this along.

Yeah, it does sound crazy. But hopefully when I am done the ol' 94 Vette will run low 11's in the quarter. I also have a few suspension mods in mind so it can take the corners even better than it does now.

I'd be interested, but I don't have the room.

What are you doing to the vette? I'm heads/cam, headers, intake, etc on my C5. On slicks it would be good for low 11s and trap around 120-122.

Well, the plan is to build up a 396 with my buddy. But first I'm going to start with headers, exhaust, cam, and heads. Right now it has a completely stock engine. I'm also going to see about dropping a few more pounds as well. It would be great to get the car to about 3000 pounds. That way I won't need as much power and won't break as much stuff. I've already dropped about 100 pounds and it makes a difference.

Cool thanks. I'm still pissed about getting smoked by my buddies 1000. I'll get over it in a couple of days. Then I'll be pissed again after the weekend. It's a viscious cycle...until i get an R1 anyway.

The R6 wasn't built to out run a R1 in a straight line. :2cents:
Take that fight to the corners!

My mind is on the top speed subject right now. My buddy has a GSXR 1000 and my 6 was no match(didn't expect it to be), but it hurts a mans pride when you get dusted as bad as I did.

Most the guys I know on liter bikes cant keep up with the good 600cc riders in the twisties.
