Growing up I always had a real tree and now with Carrie we only have fake ones. Oh well. She doesn't want to have to deal with all the needles. As long as I have a tree, I don't care.

I love real trees, but after several years of the trees dying or already dead (in Arizona) within days and teh subsequent fire hazard we bought a fake. Its an Arizona thing, up in Washington we could cut our own and always had a real tree.

As long as there is one I don't care. I guess I lean a little towards fake though because they are less mess and don't bring out my allergies as much.
