I did a search, and I know that alot is probably just what is comfortable. So here is my question, under normal riding conditions when the balls of your feet aren't up on the peg, where is your brake pedal located in relation to the bottom of your foot.

Where mine is now I have to ride with my foot slightly angled out and have to lift up to press the brake. I'm thinking I need to lower it so that it is just below my foot so I don't have to worry about moving my foot around uder hard corning.

thanks

my bad, I'm not very good at explaining things. I'll try again.

Under normal driving, is the brake pedal below you foot so you just have to press down? Or do you have to lift your foot up slightly to get over the pedal?

thanks

I have mine adjusted down a little bit from stock. It keeps it away from the bottom of my boot so I don't drag the rear brake unintentionaly. Also, it takes some of the bite away to help eliminate locking the rear. I think this is what you are getting at. When pushing things a little I keep the balls of my feet on the pegs so the brake isn't an issue. Hope that helps.

I agree, you need to lower the pedal.

Adjust levers, shift lever, brake pedal to where YOU want them
its all entirely personal preference, there is no right or wrong

Move it if you feel the need. If you don't like it, put it back.

thanks for the responses. The manual says it should be 1" below the peg when on the center stand but that is just i little too high so I'm gonna try to move it down .5 inch or so and see how that feels.

thanks again

The guy that wrote the manual is not riding your bike, you are

Setup everything the way you like it..

I rotated my levers down, move shift lever up
never touched rear brake lever as i hardly ever use it and its fine where it is.
Set sag for my weight etc..
There are many adjustments you can make to make the bike just right for you.
