There's nothing like an early morning ride! It's nice and cool and then all of the sudden... BAM!

Wouldn't you know, the only exposed skin (my neck) get whacked with something. I thought it was a stone it hurt so bad. I was only going about 25 a parking lot.

I brushed it off, and arrived at my destination. As I'm walking, what do I see on my pant leg? The struggling remnants of a BUMBLEBEE. :yikes: I'm pretty sure he's pissed and trying to sting me. Thank goodness for my riding pants.

I brushed him off and that was that, but... :wbs:

I thought I may have been stung on my throat, but it appears okay.

That sux Shan,
I had one go into my full faced helmet once when my shield was up. It got stuck right by my ear. I was laying on the binders just to get the helmet off. :yikes:

Oh Man...

That reminded me of one time, I was rolling down the road in an 18 wheeler, with the windows down, (No A/C) and a yellow jacket bounced off my drivers side window, and it's lower half, (With stinger extended) hit my left ear lobe. The stinger went thru my ear lobe, and MAN did it hurt like a :cursin: :cursin: , it was all I could do to get the truck stopped safely and see WTH was stinging so bad it was making my eyes water ! Just thought I'd share ! Good thread Shan..

There's 10 of us rolling through the backhills of WA this last weekend. We get on a highway that they've narrowed down to one late and are alternating traffic with a 5min light each way. Almost as SOON as we get going down that lane, the rider 2 bikes ahead of me is standing on his pegs, waving an arm over his shoulder and basically looks like he's having a massive panic attack. There is literally no where to pull over. Finally, we get though the section and he's calm. We get to the next stop and he asks me to check his back and he's got a BIG bug stain on his shirt and 3-4 stings right up his spine on the lower back :(
