Heading into a tight turn and the bike behind him shot into a 2 up position on the inside and forced him off the road 20' down into a field. Broken femur and pelvis. The doc put in a lot of pins and screws and hes gonna be fine. Bike needs a new subframe and lots of plastic.

I took pics of the bike but left my camera at the hospital so he could view them. And as far as I can tell, the other rider took off but the guys in our group stayed with him the whole time. (I wasn't riding but was at the hospital shortly after the accident)

The other guy took off. WTF. You guys know him or did he join you in the ride as you were already riding?

Good to hear he is going to be ok. :dthumb:

Like I said I wasnt riding that day but was told that 2 guys that met up but werent in our group took off. I believe he was one of them butam not sure, I do know that all our boys stuck with mike while the ambulance came and then helped load his bike into a truck to take it home. From what I heard the guys that left may have had BS plates and feared the arrival of the cops.

I hate to hear about anyone going down, but I have to admit that I don't know Rodog. Is he a member of the forum, or just one of your buds? Either way, I hope he recovers soon.

Glad to see you posting on here. Bummer about the wreck, especially since it was caused by someone diving inside of you on a turn on the street. Hopefully you heal quickly.
