im not a fan, but this looks interesting anyway. im going to check it out.

For the first time ever, viewers will have an all-access pass to the competition - from the garage to the evaluation room- when Roush Rracing: Driver X debuts October 24 on Discovery Channel.

Twenty-three tenacious young men. Two determined young women. Two 3,400 pound race trucks with 750 horsepower. Two of the toughest racetracks on the NASCAR circuit. Seventeen judges, including legendary NASCAR team owner Jack Roush, scrutinizing their every move. The prize? One of the most sought-after jobs in racing - a fully-sponsored ride on the Roush Racing team in the 2006 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Discovery Channel was granted unprecedented access to this closely guarded competition to show viewers, for the first time ever, what happens on the track - and off - in Jack Roush's "Gong Show." Discovery Channel's weekly series, ROUSH RACING: DRIVER X, premieres October 24 at 8 PM (ET/PT).

For the last 20 years, Jack Roush has hosted the Gong Show, a process he used to find such top racers as Robby Gordon and last year's NEXTEL Cup Champion Kurt Busch. Competing race teams and fans alike have always wondered how Jack Roush picks such successful drivers. For the first time ever, viewers will see what goes into the making of a NASCAR superstar on ROUSH RACING: DRIVER X.

Dont hate the Playa'
Roush has dedicated his life to motor sports why shouldnt he be on top of his game by now?

If Donald Trump bought out Roush racing then that would not be right. Jack put his life into building these teams. :2cents:

The man just annoys me, he is like the hitler of NASCAR. A lot of his own drivers don't like him. He screws them out of a lot of money compared to other top notch teams, but he also gives them cars that can win, so they don't know what to do. Why else do you think the defending champion saw a way out to a good team and didn't think twice? Also, I don't think he would be where he was without one man, Robert Yates. Roush never had the engine reliability nailed until he got Yates to trade secrets. I don't think it will be the same next year, all the word is that they are going to a limit of 3 cars per team with no ways around it.
