James Toseland lost his Ducati ride in WSB. Replaced by Lorenzo Lanzi. So where will Toseland go? To ten Kate if there is an opening, if not, Ducati america made an offer for him to run along side Neil Hodgeson in the AMA. That is something i would like to see.

Hopkins has lost his Suzuki ride for 06..... There is tlak aobut him going to race for his dads team if they get the finanaces back in order with Proton KR, that will be interesting to see the priateer team with a quality rider this time around. I hope it happens

the last round of GP on Speed the announcers said he was leaving Suzukis facotry, but didnt have another contract elsewhere officially offered, but speculation was to ride with his dad on the Proton KR

Edit: I'm retarded and tired. got hopkins and KR jr mixed up.... It is KR thats gone, not hopkins.

JK--
Everyone will be relearning a new bike since they are all going to 800cc specs, i cant see em just swapping motors, id htink they are gonna narrow em up and redesign to keep em at world class performance...nobody will run a wder bike then they need to. Companies like Proton are gonna find a new engine design to be costly in a already fragile finacial state, i think these redesigns kill the privateers, but what can they do about it.

i thought they werent going that way (smaller disp) till 07, 08. Still a engine/bike redesign is never cheap. i agree that alot of the smaller teams will be unable to compete for years. Especially the clean sheet teams like the KR Proton and Blata teams. But give honda, yamaha, etc a few years and theyll be geting 250hp from 800cc anyway.

Sweet. Be nice to see a privateer team get a good rider. Hopefully they'll pull a good result to end on. Didnt KR Proton miss several races this season due to finanaces?
