Been going to K.C. Engineering 689 Harrison ST for years. Great customer service, great cash prices on tires. Number one priority at this shop, get customers out quick on tire changes.
Have never waited more than 1 hour for tire change outs on my bikes. No appointments.
My BMW K1200RS tire change out took 40 mins from time I arrived at shop :) Had shop remove tires from bike, only cost $30.
Price of tires right in line with lowest internet prices. Paid $101 for front Metzler Z6 120/70/17 $118 for rear Z6 170/60/17.
$15 to mount and balance tires with you taking tires off of bike. $30 to have them remove tires from bike.

Wow, never waited more than an hour and you show up unannounced? Too bad I'm on the wrong side of the country. :(
I did call day before make sure tires are in stock, put hold on tires ;)
Tires are first priority at this shop. Mechanics stop other jobs to take care of tire replacement customers :bike:

Geez, I would love to get 6-7 k on set of tires!! I get about 3500 if lucky!! Back wears quickly, front might go 4500, but always change set together. I am on 3rd set since June!! I don't know if it is Fla pavement or my riding skills, or combo of both. I have discovered that if I lower PSI slightly from Factory setting in both they last longer at 100+ speeds. I need to make friends with someone who owns a tire store!!

Some riders also commute or take trips on their bikes ;) Tire wear is controled by many conditions.
75% commute & trips, 25% back road riding for my bike

I don't commute, I ride my motorcycle, daily if not raining. try to put 100 miles on it every time out.
