I almost think the saturn is looking more sporty on the interior and exterior. I do think the sky puts saturn in the cool club tho.jeeps84 said:I like the interior of the Solstice better and the body on the Saturn better. We know Pontiac will survive but Saturn needs to step up with some cool cars. This might just put them in the cool club.
:iagree: with ya there! I had a new Saturn SC2 one time. It was a good car, but terrible quality. I did like the dent resistant exterior panels.jeeps84 said:I have only seen the Pontiac in person and looking at pics of the Saturn. Its hard to give an honest opinion and we all know what they are worth anyway.
My engine started tapping, then it got totalled out when someone hit me from the rear and took off. The people in front of me got charged with the accident because they were borrowing the car from some chick, they didn't have a drivers license or proof of insurance and they got "lippy" with the female cop.jeeps84 said:We loved our little SC2 till weird things started happening to the electrical. We just traded it rather than let the dealer chase the problem while we suffered.
:yikes:R1up0n1 said:the weird thing is the airbags deployed the next morning when I started it up.
yeah that did the finishing touches to it for the insurance company to total it out.jeeps84 said::yikes:
Finally, someone else that thinks the GTO is a dissappointment. Its not that they designed a bad car, its that they lazily rebadged an existing car. Its just an Austrailian Holden Monaro rebadged. :disapp: id be happier if they sold it as such and put some actual effort into a real GTO.jappysRR said:I don't know?!? I don't think it's fair to compare the ugly (Saturn) against the repulsive (Pontiac) ish. Honestly, I didn't like either. sorry, but I think Pontiac needs to get different design engineers. Look at the GTO!! It's an utter monstrosity.. AKK! I guess I'm stuck in the days of real horse power. When I think of a GTO, I don't think of a plastic bubble like they introduced 2005. I think of a steel body, slick lines (1968-1970) with a standard 400 cu in V8 Ram Air... Sorry, I guess I'm old fashion...
:withstupi but its way better than the Ion and View. Saturn is a practical car and will have a hard time convincing buyers other wise. The Sky is so unpractical that I'm surprised GM put it in the Saturn line and the performance numbers aren't that great to start with. Basically amounts to an almost affordable Two seater covetable with Sky high insurance rates that will take major $$$$$ to keep up with other stock sports cars.1BadCBR said:Saturn, cool club----------------> :disapp:
What do you mean finally? Most everybody I have heard is disappointed with the new GTO. It a great car but not worthy of the GTO badge. Kind of like when Ford built the Mustang II. Should have just dropped that and called it a Pinto GT. Pontiac should have continued with a Grand Prix GT or something.JK_DILLA said:Finally, someone else that thinks the GTO is a dissappointment.
perhaps im talking to the wrong peole then. Ones that GTO means nothing to.jeeps84 said:What do you mean finally? Most everybody I have heard is disappointed with the new GTO. Sounds like the peps here respect the real GTO and not the new wanna be muscle car.JK_DILLA said:perhaps im talking to the wrong peole then. Ones that GTO means nothing to.
Either one looks better than that convertible TbirdR1up0n1 said:
Yeah, what was great about the old GOAT is it was a big motor in a small car for a good price. And its a shame that to get a V8 in a car these days, you have to pay out the @$$ for it. Even the 'stang GT. Good luck getting one thats not decked out.jeeps84 said::scratch: Sounds like the peps here respect the real GTO and not the new wanna be muscle car.
