I lived in Phoenix for over 11 years, and I rode in full gear in 105+ degree heat; similar to Vegas. Over the years I tried everything to try to stay cool, and I have to tell you, the venting in the EXO-700 will not disappoint you.
I've found, even with the vents closed there is a lot of air flow. Of course, you sacrifice wind noise, I'd wear plugs on long rides. The venting is fantastic, I wish I owned an EXO-700 when I lived in Phoenix.
