Ok, this is totally a newbie question. I seen on like one of the WOS videos that Twisty had like a "warmer" or "sock" around the front brake fluid reseviour (sp). I've also seen this on some other bikes (ie: racers really).

Can someone tell me why? What is this supposed to do? Any benefit? or just for like looks and a "I know what I'm doing on this thing" statement?

I hadn't heard about keeping the sun from ruining the fluid, but I had heard about the wrist band being used to keep the fluid from going all over the track if you wreck.

I have also heard that when the fluid gets real hot under alot of hard braking it expands, and if it expands enough it will come seeping out the reservoir cap. With the band there it doesnt get on anything, because brake fluid does nasty things to paint or metal....
