no i want to stick to the factory tool. Any more than that and im afraid ill do something harsh. But yeah i dont want anything really bad to enter my cyclinder.
I had many plugs get stuck like this in my previous cars, and one time in my SV. A deep socket, extension bar, and a breaker bar...it will come right off. You shouldn't do any damage...just make sure you are turning the correct way.

I'd spray some GOOD pentrating oil in it and yeah do like SV says... might want to try a torque blow.... where you hit the wrench with a dead blow hammer vs appling more and more torque.

The "orange" can I use is Kryoil or something like that. It works great The other thing you might try is running the bikes temp up then try to bust it hot. Wear gloves. :yikes:

PB Blaster works well. Next time put some anti-sieze on the plug threads. I use it on all my spark plugs and lug nuts.

I know with cars a big problem is that you are putting unlike metals together...which is really never a good idea cause they react to heat differently!

Worst fears realized. The moron that put the plugs in new before i bought the bike managed to get some trash in the threads when he put the front plug in. Some threads mashed. Makes me want to puke im so pissed. Anyway the old plugs are out and the new ones are in. (anti seize n' all) Now when the hell am i gonna have the time to get in there and tap the threads. :cursin:

Well at this piont be greatfull old is out and the new are in.
I would think by now retapping is out of the question. You will make the threaded hole to loose and more than likely never get the plugs tight enough. And of course you cant really go to the next size up because plugs dont work that way. Your interest will be in a new Head. Or a great machinest.

SV,
your Right and I think now would be a great time for him to be a "Head" of his game. Even if he dont change it right away, Spring is right around the bend. I know I would want them on my shelf. :dthumb:
