I just wired a Clear Alternatives Integrated Tailight with Enzo Racing LED Triangle shaped turnsignals on my F4i...The turnsignals are really bright and look awesome flashing with the LED's in the tailight...

Instal was pretty easy and it works great. Not too cheap at $50 but it works...

Well on the R1's you have to remember that you're dealing LED's and all that other crap. Not too mention that Clear Alternatives offers some cool stuff

you would be better off putting new amber LED into the existing tailight instead of ripping stuff apart. I have seen some one drill 3 small holes on either side of the tailight and do new leds there, looked really good and almost unnoticeable

I just installed one in my R6 today. Definately worth the scratch, plus a one year warranty.

i have an 05 R1 also. i would strongly recommend that you just purchase a taillight integrator kit and safe yourself the trouble. i would personally stay away from the clear alternatives products. i would recommend either the ufo led for the R1 by blueflame or customled by mccoy sports. they are identical to one another and cost the same amount. or you can even go with a dr. x kit by vfxkits.com, but they are a bit pricier. either one you go with, they are EXTREMELY bright and use high quality products. you won't be disappointed. i have the customled on my R1, and i love it. people say that they can't really stare at it directly for too long. brighter is safer in my book.
