Hello all i have been riding for a couple years on a Ducati Monster 620. Im really interested in racing and pushing my riding to the limits while maintaining control and developing my skills. Racing seems to be the the best place to do this. Motorcylcing has always been in my family and my parents are behind me 100%. I have recently purchased a 2004 Honda CBR 600RR and i love it. But i dont know anything about racing haha...I currently live in wisconsin and i will soon be moving to kansas city. Right now i live about an hour away from Road Atlanta but are there any tracks in missouri that allow sport bikes track time? How hard is it to get involved in racing is my main question.

:welcome: Pure...

And your question is pretty in depth and it depends on what kind of racing you want to get into and in what depths. The people Bee suggested could give you some info on it.. but it takes alot of time, effort, money, knowledge, and money!

Yes money twice cause it gets stupid expensive!

It's quite hard. You have to put in X number of hours on track days and pass your classes. Not too mention the wrenching work you have to put in on the bikes....

Motorcycling could be in your family from Adam & Eve but racing is COMPLETELY different... don't go into it thinking it is going to be easy..cause it isn't.

But as Bee said... twisty, Speedwerks, GSXRJack or F4ilapper can answer these questions. They know way more than I do on this...
