Ok so I bought a pair of Joe Rocket leather pants from my friend without knee pucks. I found a knee slider kit (i.e. two pieces of velcro) and bought some pucks. I was pretty sure that location wouldn't be too crucial and that if they were close the pucks could be adjusted to where they need to be, etc. But after getting the velcro "kit", the pucks and looking at the pants I am not so sure. I know the basic location but I just want to make sure because it is being sewn to leather, etc. I did contact kneedraggers and this is what he said:

The best thing I can suggest is looking at this picture and maybe even print it out to show the location you need them sewn on at:

As you can see they are right below the knee cap offset to the side a little. You will probably want to sit on the bike and use a chalk or oli marker and make some templates. Hope this helps....let us know.

Seems like good advice but I was wondering does anyone have any sketches, pictures, instructions, info, etc. that would be helpful? I would like to make sure the pucks end up in the right location.

MP, honestly, everyone's style of hanging off differs slightly so the velcro won't be exactly where you need it regardless. However, that location on the pants is basically the best compromise and the puck can be moved around on the velcro. Hell, you can even have the puck hanging half off the velcro and it will still work just fine (I had to do this with my old AGVSport leathers because the velcro was too far on the front and too high). Although, I do understand your concern with location. Since you're up in Detroit with all of the WOS guys, I would suggest you grab a set of their pants and closely match it. Even if you're a little off, it really won't make much of a difference. Basically you want the top inside corner of the puck just below the knee padding on the front with the majority of the puck on the outside of your leg and angled back.

Put the bike on center or rear stand. Put on your leathers and sit on the bike. Stick out your knee. Get a sheet of plywood. Have a helper wedge edge of plywood near bottom of front and rear tires. Lift sheet until it touches knee. That's where the puck should be.
