Anyone got any recommendations on short gloves that are comfortable and offer protection? I don't like the Tarmac 2 gloves (sorry ShaMan). I was looking into Icon but I think the ones that I wanted were the titanium ones that were like $100.00. So does anyone have any good recommendations so that I can wear them instead of the long gloves in the hotter months?

I bought some JR Atomics for under 35.00 recently, I think they list on JR site for 39.99. I like the fit

I bought them from an E-bay auction in March. They fit really well, like an Isotoner, They don't wad or bulk anywhere and I get good "feel" with them. I've had a bug or two bounce off them and they protect well. They stay cool in the wind. I like them and think they were a good deal. I hope I don't have to test them on the asphalt

I really like to hear opinions on how they hold up over time... many gloves go to crap after a small amount of milage!

I have the Cortech Accelerator glove and love them. Hand stays cool with the perfed lether, and the carbon fiber knuckles look badazz. They were around $50 I think, I have had them for 8 months and they have held up great.

I pretty much destroyed a pair of the Joe Rocket phoenix gloves in just 1 year. There was a whole worn out in the palm just from throttle use, and the velcro tab to keep it tight was hanging by one piece of a thread. Hole in the tip of one of the fingers too. The leather seemed really thin. Have a pair of Alpinestar gloves now, no comparison, better in every way.

636,

Girlfriend/fiance/wife are non-existent. I tend to not get along with them, I'm "too too nice" as I've been told by all the girls I know. They say that I have to be more of an a$$hole. I just can't do that.

I don't really like the Icon Titanium Glove, I don't think they are nice when put on. The material around the knuckles like comes "off" and it just irritated me when I was trying them on in the store. It seems like the material might get caught on the brake or clutch levers (IMO).

Check out the "TiMAX" or "Bling" gloves here...you'll see what I mean. Ride Icon

as my theory still holds ture, if u want to get laid you have to be an arsehole but dont worry graffix there is always a girl out there that wants to have th nice guy.

the gloves i had to get a little smaller becasue of the finger tips being too long, but i rub them with leather softener to get them to losen up, they work good now.

80 bucks will get you these. Had 'em for like six months and they are still perfect.

Yeah, D, those are the ones I am looking at. Along with another pair of Alpine Stars. But none of the stores around here sell ANYTHING that is AlpineStars. So I sent an email to Speedwerks to find out how much they'll cost along with some other stuff...

-Frame sliders
-Swingarm sliders
-Gear Indicator (THANKS TWISTY...I'm an idiot and can never remember what I'm in)
