I've been on hiatus from riding the SVS to work since it seems I always have an errand to run or have too much to carry to and from work. That, and the never-ending threat of thunderstorms in the summer.
This morning I figured, I'll pack light and take the bike.
First thing, I back it up out of the garage and the front brake feels awful. Not exactly what you want to feel, in fact a little scary.
I get the bike out, check the tire pressure and both tires are about 2-4 lbs LOW. Fine, I fire up the compressor and get the tires up to the proper psi. By now it's sprinkling a little, but not enough to be concerned. I can ride in sprinkles.
I go inside to get my stuff, come out and now actual rain drops are falling. :cursin: By now I'm 15 minutes late for work after messing with my tires and brakes. So, I took my streak of bad luck as a sign and hauled the bike into the garage and scrubbed todays launch.
I de-geared (riding gear), moved my crap (phone, desk keys etc) from the back back to the truck and came in as a cager.
