I have been looking for a reason to post up this information. It seems to be a useful tool to have for those that are seriously Tire (pressure) conscious.Jeeps84 said:Blow out are uncommon if you keep a check on tire pressure and a visual of the ware to look for slick spots and punctures. Flats on the other hand do happen. If you check before you ride then you will know.
If it happens while you are ridding you can fell it at the start once you know your bike and pay attention to what its doing.
However, for some reason I really can't see a real purpose for normal everyday bike riding… but for Track Days, Racing and Cars… this could be very useful… what do you think…
Smart Tire
SmarTire acts as an early warning device by actively monitoring your motorcycle’s tire pressure and temperature. The instant SmarTire senses a problem, you'll be alerted and able to take precautions.
