Well, I hoped to make it through my first season without it...but I got in an arguement with Newton today and it turns out he was right :yikes:

Out for a ride with some friends and came around a corner that tightend up on my suddenly and I was too shallow to pull out...I'm alright, albeit a bit sore and the bike is ridable/fixable...just gonna need some cash. Of course I gotta deal with the "speed too fast for conditions" bs ticket that Officer Friendly felt the need to add on top of the busted up bike :tt:

Pics: Me, chillin in the grass, waiting for the Paramedics to get there: The bike after the guys picked it up: The nice field medic patch job they did to the fairing...

Ride safe out there guys..I got lucky :angelhap:

Well, I am glad youre okay. You figured that the cop would be nice and see that you have suffered enough, but no. Anyway, :luck: with the fix! Any details on what needs to be repaired?

:yikes: Glade your ok! :dthumb:
The ticket. :cursin: That's why if I fall and can walk and or ride away, I do. You can always blame it on a dog when you call the insurance for the claim. :2cents:

Glad to hear your alright!! :yesnod: Sucks about the bike, but bikes can be fixed much easier than you, and it doesn't look too bad anyways. That's messed up that you got a ticket though... I don't hate cops or anything, but some of them can be real ********s sometimes. :luck: and be safe out there!

ohhh Shiii7, glad to hear you're ok that's the most important part. WTF did the cop give you a citation for anyway? did he see the accident? how would he know what to cite you for?
Well get that bike fixed back up and get back on the road soon.

Its an unwritten law here. If you crash and call for a paramedic or two truck. The cops have to come to investigate. If the cops come. Your getting a ticket for something. :cursin:

I'm glad when I went down at the gap this year..I picked up my bike and hauled @ss out of there before any cop could come. I rushed over to Wheelers and had the bike fixed in no time.

Same here in AZ. Scottsdale cops have nothing else better to do...

If it had just been the group I was riding with it would have been that easy. Problem was the nice couple (and I DO mean that) that came along right behind us that called 911 before anyone could help me out of the rut I dug :skep: Since they'd been told by 911 to remain there and that medic/LEO were en route...<shrug>

Things I need: New front fairing assembly, new shifter lever, new front, left turn signal, gas tank blasted down and repainted, radiator unbent. Priority are the new shift lever and fairing assembly. Once those are fixed it's good and streetable again. The rest is cosmetic. Gonna take it to a local though and have him doublecheck the frame/subframe just in case. Bike still tracks straight as an arrow though

I would have checked my self then the bike. If all was rideable. I would have said Pleas call them back and say everything is OK, thanks for the help. See Ya! :2cents:

If the crash involved another vehicle or property damage. You are required to stay at the seen. Other wise, get the heck out of there.

The POPO might come looking for you if you tare somebody's shiot up.
Yeah it might be easier for a cop to look for a guy fleeing with road rash and a f'd up bike..
