ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico (AP) -- An American T-shirt company has a solution for their fellow citizens who want to vacation in Europe without having to answer questions about U.S. politics -- pose as Canadians.

For $24.95, T-shirtKing.com offers the "Go Canadian" package, full of just the kind of things an American traveler needs to leave their country and its politics behind.

There's a Canadian flag T-shirt, a Canadian flag lapel pin and a Canadian patch for luggage or a backpack. There's also a quick reference guide -- "How to Speak Canadian, Eh?" -- on answering questions about Canada.

A buddy of mine backpacked through Europe for 6 months and he's doing a world rockclimbing tour this year. He has claimed to be Canadian many times for slightly different reasons. Some people are a bit more aggressive towards Americans so it's actually safer to claim to be Canadian in some countries.

I've heard there seems to be a mass exdous of americans trying to immigrate to canada these days. more so than previously. alot of it seems to do with healthcare.
Well, if we think healthcare is expensive now, just wait until the government provides it for us at low to no cost.

The article I read stated that those same people decided not to go due to high personal taxes and poor healthcare... Exactly the result of the socialist thinking they wish to impose on us here.

That's cool and everything, but what about your passport, doesn't that have info about where you live? I can't find my passport right now, with it being packed away, or I'd check. But I've been out of the country a few times, not for awhile, but I thought you had to have your address on your passport. Anyone know for sure? And if so, how to get around that with this package. Just my :2cents:
