Hello. Im new to the whole two wheel scene. Im lookin for a good beginner bike. Im thinkin something in the 600cc range because i dont have enough money to go buy a lower bike ride it for a year then sell it to get a better one so i want something thats a good beginner and daily rider after i gain experience. If you have any suggestions let me know what a good bike is. I very much like the style of the two circle headlights. I belive the name of the bike is a 1995 Yamaha FZR. Im not sure though. Are there any other bikes that look like this one that are good beginner bikes? Thanks for ya time.

well here goes... again... bear with us... this question gets asked so many times it's insane...

start with a SV650, 650R, ZZR600, FZ6, or something along those lines... good to see your looking used... especially for a first bike... save your self some money that can be spent on GEAR and The MSF course... which in my mind... are NOT AN OPTION

I'd check the papers... Cycle trader... even E-Bay... just beaware of scams... I'll try to find something for ya...

a 250 is a GREAT bike to learn on... but you may find you out grow it pretty quickly.... though they're fun to flick arround!

Hey thanks for the 250 help. my bud stopped by and thats all he can afford with his insurance. The three bikes im lookin at right now is the 1996 Yamaha FZR 600, Honda CBR 600 RR, and the Suzuki Katana. What you guys think of the Hondas? I was told they are pretty ****ty. What you all think?
